Operating results at scale

Eight metrics from a career running operations in regulated, high-stakes environments. Each one is specific, verifiable, and explained below in the depth a hiring committee or a client would ask for.

$700M+

Enterprise Value Preserved

Cut the fallout ratio from 3.0% to 0.09% by redesigning execution workflows across 50+ locations.

Whole loan trade and securitization execution at a top-10 national originator depended on clean handoffs across 50+ branches. Loans falling out of trades at a 3.0% ratio meant real value leaking out of every transaction. I redesigned the execution workflows end to end, standardized the cross-functional handoffs, and built an exception team that worked the pipeline systematically.

A custom performance dashboard gave the team real-time visibility into daily processes and audit metrics, driving exception resolution to a 0.78% unresolved rate against an industry standard above 5%. The fallout ratio landed at 0.09%, preserving $700M+ in enterprise value.

82%

Enterprise-Wide Efficiency Gain

Replaced a 60-platform legacy environment with 25+ custom applications, on time and on budget, with zero operational downtime.

Sixty platforms meant sixty contracts, sixty integration points, and sixty places for process to break. Behind them sat an 80+ SQL-server data stack carrying millions of data elements, with recurring third-party license and support fees on every one. I directed the design and build of 25+ purpose-built applications that replaced the entire legacy environment, sequenced so the business never stopped operating during the transition.

The consolidation delivered 82% enterprise-wide efficiency gains, measured against the operations it replaced, not against a projection, and let the same work run end to end with a leaner team.

$30M+

Saved on a $1.1B Litigation Mandate

Directed the design and build of a review system that compressed a 2+ year projected timeline to under 7 months.

A court-ordered review carried a projected timeline of more than two years. Missing it was not an option. I directed the design and build of a proprietary in-house review platform that consolidated 5 applications and 3 shared data files into a single automated work queue, then deployed a licensed AI/ML tool covering TAR and predictive document review. Processing that had previously shipped 1TB+ of case data to an outside vendor was brought in-house, with the vendor reduced to hosting only.

A team of 6 closed the review in under 7 months. Objections were filed to 95%+ of plaintiff claims, the case was dismissed after 7 years, and litigation costs came in $30M+ under the projected path. Every decision in the system was built to be defensible with opposing counsel watching.

$10M+

Cumulative Storage Savings

Reduced 175,000+ archived boxes to under 150, a 98% cut in physical storage requirements.

Physical storage ran $30,000 a month when the work started. A decade-long program of progressive digitization, defensible disposition, and records governance, including a directed audit of more than 36,000 unknown boxes, brought 175,000+ archived boxes and 2,500 data tapes down to fewer than 150 boxes and the monthly cost to near zero.

The savings compounded to $10M+ over the life of the program, with every disposition decision documented and defensible.

$2M+

Annual Savings, Paperless Transformation

Rebuilt document operations across 12 business entities within a governed digital corpus of 120M+ records.

Twelve business entities generating paper across every function, with the retrieval delays, storage costs, and compliance exposure that come with it. The paperless transformation rebuilt document operations across all 12 entities within a governed digital corpus of 120M+ records, with taxonomy, classification standards, and retention schedules built for regulatory defensibility.

The result was $2M+ in annual savings and document retrieval measured in seconds instead of minutes.

Advisory

Advised a Fortune 500 client. Identified and mapped the consolidation of 6 manual systems into one, a path from 8 hours to 5 minutes for subpoena processing.

In a 2025 advisory engagement, I assessed a Fortune 500 client's subpoena processing end to end. The workflow ran through 6 manual systems, took 8 hours per request, and exposed sensitive data at every handoff.

I identified and mapped the consolidation path to a single application, a route from 8 hours to 5 minutes with the data-exposure risk removed at each handoff point, and delivered the roadmap for the client to execute.

65%

Infrastructure Cost Reduction

Migrated 175+ servers and 45TB to Microsoft Azure and eliminated 100% of on-premise technical debt.

The full enterprise cloud migration moved 175+ servers and 45TB of data to Microsoft Azure. No hybrid leftovers, no servers kept running because nobody wanted to make the call. On-premise technical debt went to zero.

The migration was timed to kill the next hardware refresh cycle before it hit the budget. Data was re-architected into tiered Azure data sets so cost tracked usage while performance held. Infrastructure costs dropped 65%.

$5M+

Annual eDiscovery Savings

Directed an in-house program that scaled to 200+ concurrent matters.

I directed the design and build of the enterprise eDiscovery program, bringing processing, deduplication, and attorney review optimization in-house from 2010 rather than paying vendor rates on every matter. Duplicate vendor processing costs were eliminated across the board.

The program scaled to 200+ concurrent matters over 14 years. Annual savings ran $5M+, with the cost of every matter justified to the CFO and every decision defensible in court.
